Had 2 new garage doors and openers installed by Ingenious Garage Door Services. The experience was excellent. They were professional, friendly, and very comfortable to do business with. Steve arrived promptly for the first appointment and evaluation and Sayeed provided a very fair and reasonable estimate for the work. The doors I chose were in stock and 3 days later, Steve came back to complete the installation. He took pride in his work and the new doors are working wonderfully and they look great. I would highly recommend Ingenious for any needs you have with garage doors.
Great guy, very accommodating and takes his time to provide needed guidance. Highly recommended
If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. Our technician was Steve, and he was very informative and educational as to teaching me how garage door mechanisms work, how to maintain them properly, and was very transparent in the work being done, all while actually doing the work (which was replacing our spring system).

Spring replacement is the repair Ingenious Garage Door Services describes as the usual fix when a door suddenly will not lift. The Sugar Land company says it replaces both torsion and extension springs, then rebalances the door. Its website puts most spring jobs at $400 to $650, covering parts, labor and the trip.
Beyond springs, the company lists repairs for cracked panels, worn rollers and bent tracks. It says technicians carry common parts on the truck, and most fixes happen the same day when the schedule allows. Repairs come with a 1-year parts warranty, and the company states it works on doors and openers of every brand.
The company names itself an authorized dealer for C.H.I., Amarr and Clopay, so you can weigh all three brands against each other. It says a full door package includes new springs, tracks and panels, and most doors run $1,000 to $1,900 installed. Doors that are in stock are often installed within the same week, and each new door carries a written 1-year warranty on parts and labor.
Homes in Sugar Land have a median build year of 1994, per the American Community Survey (2024). The town averages 52.4 inches of precipitation and 0.0 inches of snow a year, per NOAA normals for 1991-2020.
The company installs and repairs Genie, LiftMaster and Chamberlain openers. It says most new openers cost $350 to $800 with installation, the job lasts 2 to 4 hours, and it removes the old unit. A tune-up covers lubrication, a balance check and an auto-reverse test, with loose hardware tightened along the way.
Reviewers most often mention technicians who arrive on time, stay friendly and explain the work as it happens, along with same-day spring fixes and fair prices. The business is open 24 hours every day, and it holds a 5.0 rating from 427 reviews.
The company says it handles both residential and commercial garage doors across Fort Bend County, with work reaching Katy, Richmond and Houston.
